Heart

The features of round faces include circular, full cheeks, and lacking strong lines and angles. When shopping for glasses for round faces, look for frames that add distinction to the face's natural curves (square or strong shapes), which can make a round face seem thinner and longer. You should avoid those frames that emphasize the roundness of the face.

Oblong

An oblong face is very similar to an oval shape, with one distinction: an oblong face is longer than it is wide. Choose frames that are round, deep, have low-triangle shapes, or that have strong vertical lines, have a low bridge to shorten the nose.

Oval

The oval face is characterized by a lightly curved jawline that is a little narrower than the forehead and high cheekbones. The best frame options are wide or wider than the broadest part of the face and follows your brow line. Diamond or rectangular shapes often work best for oval shapes.

Triangle

A triangle face shape is widest and the jaw and gradually gets narrower through to the forehead. To balance a broad chin, choose frames that widen at the top. Ideal selections are those that have detailing on the upper part of the frames. For example, cat-eye shapes are great because they add width and emphasize the narrow upper part of the face.

Square

Features of a square face often include a broad forehead with a strong horizontal jawline as well as a wide chin and cheekbones. Choose frames that round or oval to make the face appear longer and softens the square angular shape of the face.
